This game was made by ARPGCS.

First off I want to say that this game has almost nothing to do with Zelda
except in game play and in concept. Zelda-Invasion plays some what like the original Zelda for Nintendo*. For those of you who aren't familiar with the series you control Link not Zelda. Zelda is the princess of Hyrule. Link is the hero of the game.

BACKGROUND
You are link and you start out in a forest when aliens land. Now you find yourself helping them defeat their evil leader. The "levels" included are: a forest, a couple of houses, a haunted mansion, a few dungeons, a desert, and two UFOs. The items included are: a sword, a flame-thrower, another sword, an orb, a hammer, a potions, hearts, and an alien key.

Controls
The arrows move Link around,
[2nd] pops up the inventory screen, you can cycle through the items -
the item on the bottom is the one being used.
[Mode] drops your current item. [Del] exits the game,
To fight all you need to do is run in to a monster, and the sword swings
automatically. You can also rapidly press the left/right cursor keys to swing
in both directions. You'll figure it out. To use an item, you must hold it
in your hands and than walk into the place you want the item to be used.

When you die, you will start where you began the game, but all the things in the game will remain
the way you left them. You will still have your items, and all the door are left open, etc. The game
is saved each time you exit - select continue next time you start the game to load it.

This game probably will become longer until I fill up all 255 of the rooms
you can make with ARPGCS.

HISTORY:
Version1.1 distributed to my friends, very short.

Version1.2 distributed to my friends, a few bugs fixed

Version1.3 distributed to my friends, a few minor bugs fixed. attempted to get it put in a few web site, but failed.

Version1.4 this is the one you got. Pretty long. Hopefully not the last version. I plan to use all 255 rooms. But I hope there arent any bugs.

special thanks to: the maker of ARPGCS, Paul Robson, to all who beat and enjoyed playing the
game, and to everyone who puts this game on their web site. Oh yeah I want to thank Yuri Boyko
( goldeneye700@mail.com ) for "giving" me the idea of the "rocks" and certain "trees". The broadsword was my idea before I even downloaded your game. I also want to thank sk8rguy@optonline.net (no name given) for "giving" me the idea of the "flame-thrower". PS sk8r I just downloaded your game to see what it was like. I don't approve of the use of drugs.

Apparently the names and logos of Zelda and Nintendo belong to Nintendo

* When I say "giving" I mean I stole their idea from their game. I mean hey Im just some kid who
would rather play games on his calculator than pay attention in class.

** You had better appreciate this document. I don't really care, but don't criticize the spelling
'cause I wrote this at 11:45 PM on a school night with real bad heartburn and while watching a
really dumb TV show. Also Notepad*** doesn't have a spell checker.

Note to Yuri Boyko and sk8rguy@optonline.net if you want your stuff taken out of my game just tell me so and I will.
